T. Anil Oommen is a member of First Congregational Church (UCC) in Eugene, Oregon. He teaches the Our Whole Lives curriculum to children and youth in grades K-1, 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12 both within the church and in public school settings. Anil was instrumental in integrating the OWL curriculum from first grade to eighth grade in a public charter school in 2008. He became an OWL trainer in 2011 and currently provides trainings for churches and consultation and support to school districts on implementing OWL in the public sphere. Anil is currently an assistant professor in a teacher preparation program at Pacific University after fourteen years as an elementary school educator. He brings his passion for comprehensive sexuality education to his work preparing future teachers. Anil holds a bachelor of arts degree in religious studies from The College of Wooster, a master of arts degree in theological studies from San Francisco Theological Seminary, and a master of arts degree in teaching from Pacific University.
