When her son was diagnosed with Autism in 2012, She became interested in autism research and advocacy. Gensic started the website learnfromautistics.com where she continually engages with the Autistic community through her blog. She is also the author/editor of a guidebook for parents of Autistic children with advice generated from interviews conducted with Autistic adults.
