Deirdre Osborne

Deirdre Osborne is a Reader in English Literature and Drama at Goldsmiths, University of London where she co-convenes the MA Black British Writing. Her research spans subjects drawn from late-Victorian literature to contemporary poetry, plays and fiction writing through topics such as, Landmark Poetics, mixedness, and adoption aesthetics in relation to the consequences of the British Empire and its aftermath. She is Associate Editor of the journal Women's Writing (Taylor and Francis) and Visiting Professor in the Centre for Transnational Research in Art, Identity and Nation at the University of the Arts, London.
