Hi everyone,

For those of you not already familiar with our Goodreads discussion group, I want to draw your attention to Justice and Spirit: The Unitarian Universalist Book Club, sponsored each month by Skinner House Books and Beacon Press. This group is a "place where all who are interested in spirituality, religion, and social justice, whether Unitarian Universalist or not, can discuss books that relate" to these timely, critical topics.

The Justice and Spirit book selection for March is Women and Other Monsters: Building a New Mythology by Jess Zimmerman. Brand new from Beacon Press, Women and Other Monsters is a "fresh cultural analysis of female monsters from Greek mythology, and an invitation for all women to reclaim these stories as inspiration for a more wild, more monstrous version of feminism."

In addition to our March Goodreads pick, inSpirit has an impressive selection of titles from women of all backgrounds who care about and work to address the justice and spiritual needs of our time.  Among the many important titles in our inventory by and about women, I invite you to check out the featured titles in the Women's History and New for Children and Youth sections just below this message.

Take care and read on!
