Dear friends,

We are thrilled with the recently announced news that Dr. Ibram X. Kendi will give this year's Ware Lecture at the 2022 General Assembly in Portland, Oregon!

Dr. Kendi is Mellon Professor in the Humanities at Boston University and founding director of the BU Center for Antiracist Research. He is a contributing writer at The Atlantic, a CBS News racial justice contributor, and host of the new action podcast, Be Antiracist.

Dr. Kendi has authored many acclaimed books, including the National Book Award winning Stamped from the Beginning: The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America. His most recent titles -- both due out June 14th -- are How To Raise an Antiracist and the children's book, Goodnight Racism.

Dr. Kendi's books are available to purchase right here at inSpirit and will be for sale in our booth (#500) at GA from June 22-26. The Ware Lecture will happen the evening of Saturday, June 25.

For more information about the 2022 General Assembly, including the Ware Lecture and registration, please visit the UUA website.
